Van halen, the Mayan calendar, and chicken nuggets

Well, i have to say, that last week was a very exciting week. Although I didn’t get to see Van Halen in concert, I did find a few chicken nuggets in my printer, and everyone has finally given up on that stupid theory of the ancient Mayans predicting the end of the world. I also made a good profit, and got to spend some quality time with Teri, which is always a plus.
On another note, I am printing up the shipping labels today, to get everything that was purchased off to the post office, and i find myself procrastinating for some odd reason. I am not sure just why I am dragging my feet on this project, since it was very exciting to see the items that I was selling go for a lot more than what I had expected, with one auction ending within 20 minutes of being posted on Ebay. That was only the start, and my week just got better from their.

Van Halen

          Van Halen

OMG, just when you thought it was safe, and all the rumblings from their last visit had finally died down, guess who is coming back to town ? That's right, Van Halen. Get your tickets while they're hot, and hope to see you their. And don’t forget, that Diamond Dave will be the front-man for this concert as well. You can catch DavidLeeRoth over on you tube, if somehow you have forgotten who Diamond Dave is.  Roth David was one of the founders of Van Halen, and together, they made a combination that was unbeatable. With Eddie Van Halen's guitar playing, they were one of a kind. And even though they weren't grammy winners in 2012, you can bet that Paul McCartney and Glen Campbell wont be the front men in this trio. I am also pretty sure that they wont be doing Beach Boys covers. Although it may seem like Van Halen has been around since the Civil wars, you can rest assured that most of us Generation-X'ers, will be their in some shape or form, no matter what the Obama budget throws at us. This will not be Jennifer Hudson tribute to Whitney Houston. Maybe if i had that 336.4 million dollar lotto ticket....

David Lee Roth to rejoin VanHalen

Just seeing reports that David lee Roth has been touring with Van halen again, after so many years. It will be their first album together since the 1984 album. It is really nice to see this group almost completly back together, as a group again, creating that magic that was Van Halen. Although they are all amazing artists in the own right, together they form something special, that cant be touched. Now if we could just find that darn drummer.....
